Patient Satisfaction With Radiesse
In clinical studies, Radiesse patients were more satisfied with the results they received from treatments with Radiesse versus leading fillers.1,2 In a head-to-head, 12-month study comparing Radiesse to Restylane® Injectable Gel, 67% of patients preferred Radiesse treatment.2

60 patients were enrolled in a European, randomized, split-face controlled study evaluating efficacy, safety, durability, and volume. The treating physician could use the volume they determined necessary to achieve full correction. Preference was determined in a blinded manner.

Table shows results of patients’ preference of Radiesse or Restylane at 6, 9, and 12 months. Of the 59 people answering, 64% preferred Radiesse at 6 months. Of the 58 respondents at 9 months, again 64% preferred Radiesse. At 12 months, Radiesse is preferred by 67% of the 58 people being surveyed.

The graph represents the percentage of subjects who reported that they are satisfied or extremely satisfied at 4, 8, and 12 months between Radiesse and Juvéderm 24. At 4 months, 97% of Radiesse patients were satisfied or extremely satisfied compared to 20% of Juvéderm 24 respondents who were similarly satisfied. At 8 months, 95% of Radiesse patients were satisfied or extremely satisfied compared to 6% of Juvéderm 24 patients. At 12 months, 90% of Radiesse patients were satisfied or extremely satisfied compared to 7% for Juvéderm 24.
